New Blog Section: Book Reviews!
It’s official! We have added a new section to the BBE program blog called “Book Reviews!” The purpose of this section is for students and teachers to share materials and ideas for teaching in a bilingual setting.
Gillian Cohen was the first to write an extremely relevant and thoughtful review on the 5th grade level book The Circuit: Stories from the Life of a Migrant Child. Thanks Gillian!
We encourage all of you to contribute to this great community resource! All submissions should include the book title, author, grade level (if applicable), language, and a short review of the text. Personal experiences using the text are welcome! Please submit reviews to sjc2161@tc.columbia.edu with AMES Book Review in the subject line.
