The Olancho Aid Foundation – Teaching in Honduras
The Olancho Aid Foundation: The Olancho Aid Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, faith-based organization that empowers Honduran youth to transform themselves, their communities, and their country through education. From special needs to bilingual classrooms, our team of international volunteers and Hondurans are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing an environment that stimulates intellectual and spiritual growth and fosters independent thinking. Please visit our website at olanchoaid.org for more information about our projects and current goals.
Our mission is to provide a quality, Catholic education to youth living in an area of Honduras with few opportunities. In order to do so, we seek hard-working, service-oriented volunteers to serve as teachers from pre-k to 12th grade. We offer our teachers one round-trip flight, housing, travel insurance, and a monthly stipend. In exchange, our teachers receive the opportunity to grow in service, as well as invaluable teaching experience in a multicultural setting.
Below are detailed job descriptions, as well as a general flyer. We would greatly appreciate any help to our mission!
