Teacher, 3rd & 4th grades

This position collaborates with the upper school French teachers in the 3rd and 4th grade classrooms. The successful candidate is a trained teacher, with at least 2 years of experience. This position will teach math and support literacy in English, and help develop and support science and social science projects.Our integrated curriculum has a strong emphasis on science and the arts through experiential learning, hands-on projects, games, and collaborative problem solving.

The following qualifications are required:

-Master’s degree in education, child development, or other related field (or equivalent experience)

-At least two years teaching experience with children between the ages of 4 and 6

-Highly dynamic, hands-on style

-Experience integrating science and literacy

-NOTE: NYS certification NOT REQUIRED
