| February 8, 2018

SIGN-UP AND PRESENT YOUR MOTHER LANGUAGE AND CULTURE AT TC’S (UN)SPOKEN!

The third annual (Un)Spoken: A Celebration of International Mother Language Day, will take place on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, from 5-8pm in Grace Dodge Hall, Rooms 177/179.

Mother Language Day began in Bangladesh in 1952 when university students protested for the recognition of their mother tongue, Bangla, as one of the two national languages of East Pakistan.

Join TC’s school-wide celebration of multilingualism and multiculturalism by signing up to present a song, dance, skit, poem, personal reflection, or any other creative or artistic showcase in a dominant or non-dominant language. We would love for you to sign, speak and share stories, experiences, and more with the audience.

Additionally, any student organization is welcome to put together a regional exhibition for the event.
