SUMMER A: Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 am -1:00 pm, 2-3 credits

How might art help us make sense of the social, cultural, and personal experiences that shape us as teachers/practitioners?

How can engagements with visual artworks, art materials, and creative writing work together to help us explore aspects of our lives and identities?

How might art-full identity explorations matter in the education of young people (and other learners)?

Examine these questions through art viewing, art making, creative writing, scholarly texts, and seminar discussions.

OPEN TO STUDENTS IN ALL TC DEPARTMENTS

***NO PREVIOUS ART EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!!***
