About the Job

The Lang School is a progressive, K-12 school for twice exceptional (2e) learners. 2e learners present significant challenges requiring myriad strategies for reaching and connecting with them and for maximizing their opportunities for academic, social/emotional, and behavioral success. Our class size is small (10 to 12 students per class), and each class is either taught by two co-teachers or a teacher/assistant teacher pair.

We are looking for an innovative, flexibly minded, and committed Spanish teacher to join our small, collaborative team two days weekly (Wednesdays and Fridays) starting August 25th, 2014. Responsibilities include teaching beginning level Spanish students in grades K-9, lesson and unit plan design, progress report writing, participation in weekly staff meetings, supervision of assistant teacher, and parent-teacher conferencing.
