Paid Summer Teaching Fellowship: Practice Makes Perfect

| February 13, 2019

Dear Prospective Teaching Fellow –

Thank you for considering to spend your summer with us! I started Practice Makes Perfect when I was 18 years old and a student in college. I was frustrated by the inequality that existed and I understood firsthand the potential that college students had to help narrow the achievement gap, particularly during the summer. We are looking for individuals who embody our company values of Entrepreneurship, Conscious Capitalism, Revolutionary Change, and Excellence. Our team is excited to get to know you throughout the application process. Best of luck and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you to our team this summer!

For many of our students, this will be their first opportunity to build a relationship with a college-aged student. Many of the children we serve will one day be first-generation college students. Teaching Fellows have an opportunity to get them thinking about their future much earlier so they’re on a path to college matriculation.

Teaching Fellows will be paid $18 per hour and can expect to earn ~$3,000 – $4,000 pre-tax from June 11th to August 11th.
