Mandarin Bilingual Field Supervisors Needed

The Bilingual/Bicultural Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University is looking for qualified instructors who are willing to serve as our Mandarin bilingual student teachers’ field supervisors in Fall 2014. Supervisors should have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and should hold teacher certification in the same area (i.e., elementary education) that the student is seeking. Supervisors are paid $100 per visit per student teacher per semester. For our 7 Mandarin Bilingual Student Teachers in Fall 2014, five are required to be observed 4 times; two need to be observed twice. With respect to travel reimbursement, supervisors are paid a maximum of $50 per student teacher per semester.
