Middle School/Upper School FRENCH TEACHER

The Packer Collegiate Institute seeks a dynamic French teacher who enjoys collaboration, curriculum development, and working with middle school students. This position includes teaching Middle School French, working in teams at the department and division levels, and serving as a Middle School student advisor. This position may include teaching some sections of Upper School French when there is a need.

We are seeking teachers who have native or native-like fluency in French and are deeply committed to their classroom practice, to thorough and innovative curriculum design, and to continuing to strengthen a well-established department. In addition, candidates must be willing to take an active role in planning and leading opportunities for international travel and learning for our students. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and a master’s degree.

Middle School/Upper School SPANISH TEACHER

The Packer Collegiate Institute seeks a dynamic, experienced Middle School Spanish teacher for the 2018-19 school year. This position includes teaching four sections of Middle School Spanish, working within a highly collaborative department and division, as well as serving as a Middle School student advisor. This position may include teaching some sections of Upper School Spanish when there is a need.

Candidates should have native or native-like fluency in Spanish and the ability to teach upper-level Spanish classes. We are seeking teachers​ who are deeply committed to their classroom practice, to thorough and innovative curriculum design, and to continuing to strengthen a well-established department. In addition, candidates must be willing to take an active role in planning and leading opportunities for international travel and learning for our students. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and a master’s degree.
