Haiti/DR Summer Opportunity for TC Students

| February 5, 2018

Yspaniola is an education non-profit based in the Dominican Republic. Yspaniola works in partnership with Batey Libertad, a vibrant community comprised of Dominicans, Haitian migrants, and Dominicans of Haitian descent. In addition to providing enriching educational opportunities throughout the school year, Yspaniola operates a two-week Summer Camp each July that brings together the entire community around learning and fun. We are currently recruiting 2018 Summer Camp volunteers and would love to have more TC students on board!

The Summer Camp program is perfect for students interested in education, social work, nonprofit development, and international relations. Throughout the experience, volunteers and interns will be challenged to think critically about issues of migration, race, and social exclusion, while also contributing to the local community in meaningful ways.
